The Sauris-Zahre Business Network is an entity that was officially established in June 2017, bringing together various companies in the sectors of agri-food production, hospitality, handicrafts and services, whose activities specifically characterize and distinguish the destination of Sauris-Zahre.
All these companies share the same vision and objectives for the future:
TO CREATE A COMMON FORCE CAPABLE OF ENHANCING, VITALIZING AND MAKING THE AREA “HOSPITABLE” ALL YEAR ROUND, BOTH FOR TOURISTS AND RESIDENTS.
The Sauris-Zahre Network is a small driving force that, since its inception, has been cooperating and supporting the municipal administration with the project of sustainable development of the territory. As a collective project, it is currently involved in the direct management of promotion and marketing activities of the local tourist offer, with an overall repositioning perspective for the destination.
What the Network intends to create is a virtuous, shared and transparent ecosystem, which develops from the creation of authentic and sustainable offers, the “deseasonalization” of tourist flows and the involvement of the entire Sauran community by investing first and foremost in young people in order to extend the possibilities of fruition of the territory throughout the entire year.
Sustainability from an economic, environmental and social perspective is a fundamental value for the activity of the Sauris-Zahre Network. Furthermore, a second objective is the achievement of the GSTC-D certification, in adhering to the criteria of sustainable tourism set out by the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) for destinations in four thematic areas: sustainable management, socio-economic, cultural and environmental impact.
Guided by these objectives, the Sauris-Zahre Network has created experiential itineraries to be offered to those who choose to visit or spend their vacation in Sauris, which are designed to “amaze” guests with curious, unusual and deeply authentic activities, capable of discovering the history, culture, environment and traditions of a unique and extraordinary territory and enhancing and preserving them with “slow” and low environmental impact proposals.
These experiences are to be lived out accompanied and guided by the same people who conceived and offered them, with the ultimate goal of always valuing and concentrating on people.
