By detouring from the previous road and quickly ascending along a cart way, you can reach Malga Novarzutta, an alpine pasture that is still active, retaining its original architectural features. Looking at the alpine hut, along the right side, there are flat-shaped purple-colored sandstone boulders, where it is not uncommon to catch a glimpse of some marmots in that area or to hear their characteristic whistle. Beyond the complex of mountain huts, passing through a series of picturesque plateaus and some waterholes for livestock, you can ascend to Forcella Novarza, where there is a breathtaking view of the Pesarina Valley.
