Malga Pieltinis can also be reached by way of a trail that departs from the Raitrn area just above the village of Sauris di Sotto. After taking a right turn and passing the arrival station of an abandoned ski lift, you continue through a few hairpins in rapid sequence and ascend toward the rounded Monte Rinderperk. After crossing a wide and panoramic saddle, you descend along the opposite slope, pass through a dip and then ascend to an extensive flat stretch where the Pieltinis complex of mountain huts is located at the higher end.
