Starting from the village of Lateis, take the road ascending to the Frumeibn area by following Trail 2D to the fork. From there, turn left going up in front of the stavolo Frumeibn, continuing until Trail 2D levels out towards the northern slope. At that point, turn left and climb up the ridge. You will find yourself above a rocky peak overlooking the village, where young people gather for lively singing sessions. Following the ridge line, you walk through a beautiful forest of beech trees serving as protection for the village, until you reach a grassy plateau. There on the right, you find once again Trail 2D, while on the left there is a mule track that descends to Trail 2C.
