The guide will first accompany the participants in an area characterized by the rock glacier – an underground glacier – from which a complex runoff system begins which also feeds the Mediana lake below.
Returning to the forestry path, we will continue the journey until we reach the Mediana lake, where the singular and evocative genesis of this basin will be illustrated. Wrapped and protected by a dense coniferous forest, the Mediana lake occupies a sort of circular sinkhole, it is a place that transmits peace and an intimate magic, about which legends and mysterious stories were born. Due to its isolated position, its wild nature, it is little known and there is no real path, even the CAI paths do not include it, even though it passes a few hundred meters away.
