Hi everyone, I’m Renzo, and we will go together through the streets of the village of Sauris where we will find buildings built with the Blockbau technique, which were once used as stables and barns. Starting from the 1980s, as part of the Sauris Project, these historic buildings were expertly restored, maintaining their original characteristics, and I was one of the architects who participated.
In 2022, the authenticity of the village of Sauris was recognized and awarded by the World Tourism Organization UNWTO, as part of the Best Tourism Villages initiative, together with 32 other rural tourist villages scattered around the world.
In this experience I will accompany you through traces and images of the past, stories of the present and hopes for the future.
