Meeting point at the Sports Centre in Velt

Hi, I’m Franco, and I’ll be guiding you on an unforgettable snowshoe hike, suitable for everyone, through the snowy forests of Monte Cavallo. We will set off from the Sauris Sports Centre, immediately plunging into nature towards Monte Ruke. Amidst silent trees and crystal-clear air, we will climb up to a stavolo, a typical construction made of wood and stone that recounts the traditions of the place.
Continuing along the ridge of Monte Cavallo, we will be confronted with enchanting views. The peaks of Monte Bivera and Monte Tiarfin rise majestically in the snow, illuminated by the last light of day. This is the most suggestive moment of the route, where the silence and the vastness of the landscape will give us moments of pure wonder.
From Monte Cavallo we will descend towards Sauris di Sopra, passing by the church of San Lorenzo, and then continue the return journey to the Sports Centre. It will be an immersive experience in nature, perfect for those seeking a panoramic and relaxing snowshoe hike among the snowy beauty of Sauris.

The hike will be cancelled in case of bad weather, taking into account the forecast of www.meteo.fvg.it

Each paying adult, one child up to 11 years free of charge
