Did you know that many films have been shot in Sauris? We are Walter and Gennj and together we will go on a unique excursion: the beauty of nature and local tradition will be combined with the art of filmmaking.
We will explore the surrounding landscape that has been used as a backdrop for some of the films or TV programmes filmed in Sauris. We will be immersed in the places that have inspired directors and artists, discovering the secrets behind the cameras and sets.
In a very simple loop tour, as we venture along the paths immersed in nature, we will have the opportunity to relive scenes from films that were actually shot in Sauris.
The excursion is a perfect fusion of nature, culture and art. We will walk through forests and villages while discussing filming techniques and the stories behind the shooting of these film locations.
During the hike, we will make several strategic stops to admire the most iconic locations and take photos that capture the essence of these settings. We will also look back at photographs of films shot in the area, comparing reality with the magic of cinema.
At the end of the day, we will return to the starting point with a new perspective on the beauty of our environment and the importance of the natural landscape in the world of cinema.
