Meeting point at the piazzetta of the Albergo Diffuso in Sauris di Sopra

Hi, I’m Omar, and I’ll be accompanying you on a fascinating snowshoe hike to discover the winter beauty of M. Morgenleit. We will leave from Sauris di Sopra and climb up to the Sella di Festons (Festons Saddle), then continue along the ridge that will take us to the summit. From here, we will enjoy a spectacular view of the Sauris basin and beyond, from the Belluno Dolomites to the Carnic Alps.
In the last stretch of the ascent, we will leave the beaten tracks and trace our path through the larch woods, following the clearings of the northern ridge until we reach the summit cross.
An unforgettable panorama awaits us. Spectacle guaranteed!

To bring: hiking clothing suitable for the seasonal climate with thermal layer and wind/down jacket, gloves and cap, hiking shoes with lugged soles or boots, No Moon Boot (possible ice or snow on the ground), water and/or hot drink, snacks

Please arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled time

In the event of snow along the route, the excursion may be modified at the guide’s discretion for the safety of the group

The excursion will be cancelled in case of bad weather, taking into account the forecast of www.meteo.fvg.it
